This book is primarily an introduction to six Dutch painters--Pit Van Loo, Jan Van Loon, Henk Helmantel, Rein Pol, Jan Van Der Scheer, and Jan Zwaan--who hitherto have had no public exhibitions in North America. Several of the artists are recognized in The Netherlands and have also had exhibitions in other European countries. Others are at the beginnings of their careers, and gradually building up a body of work. 102 illustrations, of which 24 are in color.
