An important event in the study of Southern Furniture, this was the first book to deal with the subject since 1911. Contains three essays: The Old South by Marshall B. Davidson; The Furniture of Charleston by E. Milby Burton; and Southern Furniture by Helen Comstock. 162 pieces are illustrated in black and white.
